When gold was discovered in the Australian Outback, the ruling British expanded the Royal Mint system to include facilities in Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth. Today, the Perth Mint carries on the history and reputation of gold bar production in Australia with its 10 Gram Perth Mint Gold Bar.

Bar Highlights:

  • Features assay card for verification.
  • Contains 10 Grams, or .3215 oz, of .9999 pure gold.
  • Individual bars ship in sealed plastic with an Assay card, and multiples of 25 ship in boxes.
  • CertiCard security features.
  • Eligible for use in Precious Metal IRA accounts.

The 10 Gram Perth Mint Gold Bars in this product listing ship to you in an individual, sealed plastic package. Included inside the packaging is the assay card that provides you with verification of its authenticity. The bar’s individual serial number and assayer’s signature are featured on the card.

CertiCard technology provides you with assurances that the product you purchase arrived in its promised condition. The security technology uses luminescent UV ink to immediately detect tampering. If the packaging on your gold bar is disturbed, the UV ink is activated and displays the message “seal broken.”

On the obverse side of the 10 Gram Perth Mint Gold Bar is the image of the facility’s logo. The Perth Mint logo features a swan inside a circle, with the words “Perth Mint – Australia” engraved around the logo. Additional inscriptions include the gold bar’s purity, metal content, and weight.

The reverse side of all bars features a repeating pattern of jumping kangaroos. Arranged in a horizontal pattern, these kangaroos (like the logo on the obverse) feature a deeply-mirrored finish. This gives the design sets the appearance of floating above the bar’s matte background.

Australia’s Perth Mint is the oldest facility in the country. Located in the state of Western Australia, the Perth Mint is owned by the state and is not affiliated with the national government’s Royal Australian Mint.
