These coins are produced at the Mexican Mint. Established in 1535, it’s the oldest mint in the Americas. While most coins contain a face value, these don’t. However, they’re still backed by Banco de Mexico for their metal content. 1/10 oz and 1/20 oz weights were introduced in 1991 and have been a mainstay in the overall series ever since.
The obverse field of each 2023 Mexican Gold Libertad Coin displays the coat of arms of Mexico. This iconic image features a golden eagle grasping a rattlesnake in its beak and talons. The eagle is seen perched on a prickly pear cactus while decorative laurel leaves are tied together by a ribbon beneath it.
Winged Victory is on the reverse of each 2023 1/10 oz Gold Libertad Coin. This depiction showcases Victory in a three-quarter side profile holding broken chains and a wreath crown. In the background, we see the mountains of Popocatepetl and Iztaccihuatl.
Each purchase of a 2023 1/10 oz Mexican Gold Libertad Coin will arrive in a protective flip to preserve the condition of your coin. All coins in this listing will arrive in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. This coin is the second-smallest fractional weight of Mexican Gold Libertads.
