PAMP Suisse is well known for its popular Fortuna bar design, used on both silver and gold products. This particular bar features a rustic appearance, rather than the highly refined appearance of its popular Fortuna bars. All engravings on the bar are pressed into the bars, which have been cast using rough molds to create the antique appearance. The edges of the bar are rounded roughly, and the finish has a matte appearance.
On the obverse side of the bar are the lone impressions on the surface of the bar. From top to bottom, the engravings include the PAMP Suisse corporate logo, the bar’s weight, metal content, and purity, as well as the assayer’s mark and the individual serial number of the product.
The reverse side of this cast PAMP Suisse gold bar is blank, featuring no markings of any kind and a matte finish.
PAMP Suisse was established in Ticino, Switzerland in 1977. After operating as an independent entity for decades, the company joined the Geneva-based MKS Group in the early 20th century.
